Function guide
Ingest leads from any source and route them to buyer campaigns through the marketplace.
Nota is the lead transport layer. Supply and demand are symmetric: a source is where leads come in, a campaign is where they go out, and connecting the two (same category) lets each incoming lead run an auction and deliver to the winning buyer. It handles both directions — bring your own buyers, bring your own suppliers, or run leads you generate yourself.
A source is an ingest token tagged with a category and channel, plus an inbound field-map that normalizes whatever payload a supplier sends into canonical fields. Suppliers post leads to the ingest endpoint with the token; you can also build sources from your own captured leads.
Captured sub-sources (the origin domain/sub-id behind a lead) are tracked for reputation, and a source or sub-source can be quarantined to stop routing without deleting it.
A campaign holds your buyer targets: each target has a price (or a live RTB bid), an optional per-lead floor, delivery config, and filter rules. When a lead arrives, the eligible targets compete in Galleria’s auction; the winner is delivered and Maestro settles the money.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Ping | Run the auction and HOLD a reservation at the winning price — returns the bid, delivers nothing yet. |
| Post | Deliver the full lead to the held winner at the reserved price, and settle. |
A shared (non-exclusive) lead can be sold more than once — each delivery is its own auction + settlement.
As a Network operator you onboard your own suppliers (at a buy price) and buyers (at a sell price) and keep the margin; LeadOpera charges a flat per-lead platform fee. See Maestro → Network for the money side.
Next: Galleria (how the auction picks the winner) and Encore (what happens to a lead after it’s sold).
